Playing with the Bamboo Tablet - Flowers
My tablet has been sadly abandoned these last few months. Work @ school has been good, but crazy busy. This weekend my daughter came down sick, so we got a lot of @ home time. Did I clean? Maybe a bit. Did I doodle . . . heck ya! ") Even got a start to a painting done and another project finished up that has been giving me some creative difficulties. I will post these later. It felt SO GOOD to doodle today. Now I have to go finish laundry and try to dream up something for dinner. Doodle on!

old sketch idea being re-worked . . .
The plan is to re-draw and update her a bit. My three year old gave me the spark of an idea when she was going off on how she likes the Binky Fairy better than the Tooth Fairy. The story ideas are whirling! I think when she discovers that the Tooth Fairy brings cash, she may change her tune a bit. ")

Happy Mother's Day!!
I hope all you Moms have a fantastic day! Ours started at 5:30 am when my smallest shuffled into the room wanting to snuggle. Perfect start to the day! It was followed by honey covered Ego waffles, sausage, coffee and fresh picked roses served in bed. My 8 year old ran the show. It was hysterical listening to all the clamor in the kitchen. Over my second cup of coffee, my husband found this newspaper article. We were laughing till there were tears. Enjoy!
