Shhh . . A Christmas Present Lurks

I just finished this doll for Aly. She has a removable hair clip, choker and tutu that will also fit her American Girl doll. "Pinky" is a very squishy little moon faced girl, very hugable. She is also soon to star in her own original book that will follow her under the Christmas tree. Now I've got to go get busy and hide her before Aly gets home.

Dizzy Kitty "Ugly Doll" - By Aly

Aly and I were busy making Christmas gifts today. It was rainy and cozy, which was perfect!
She wanted to make an "Ugly Doll" for her sister. She drew the sketch, picked out the fabric from the scrap box and sewed the eyes on. I was really impressed how much, as a 7 year old, she can do! Sad to say, we are at about the same level sewing-wise. ") It was great mom and daughter bonding time. Are they making the eyes of the needles smaller, or is it just me?
