Every holiday, a group of kids gather in my mom's neighborhood to decorate treats. These delightful goodies are then hand delivered to the seniors living in the area. It has been such an amazing community builder! My girls love visiting all the "Grandmas and Grandpas." In the past they have created Christmas wrap, decorated cookies and had a spring "ladies" tea. One of our favorite neighbors even showed up wearing her special tea hat! Such a wonderful way to introduce kids to giving, serving others and to build relationships with the incredible seniors living in our area.
